Slightly funky but brimming with blossom and berry aromas this is concentrated finely etched and super-mineral with a breathtaking finish that makes you think you are drinking slate. Drinkable now but best from 2023.

The 2020 Niederberg Helden Riesling GG shows a coolish even minty nose of broken slate and ripe rich and intense fruit. Full-bodied dense and structured on the palate this is a dense and more muscular Helden that needs some years to refine and open up. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
