As is seemingly always the case at this stage this is moderately reduced. Otherwise the sleeker but not denser flavors flash more evident minerality on the delicious balanced and long finale that possesses enough structure to repay at least a decade of cellaring. Lovely and a Champeaux of finesse. (Drink starting 2032)

Champeaux was planted with clones in 1987 which gives thin skinned grapes hence always a lighter colour and a higher pH I suspect. The nose is all about strawberries roses too. Medium plus length with just enough acidity.
