Vinous: 91-93 Points
The 2018 Pommard Clos Blanc 1er Cru comes from the final plot before you reach Les Grands Epenots a 0.35-hectare parcel that was entirely replanted in 1998 from a sélection massale of Pinot Fin. It has quite a complex tertiary undergrowth-scented bouquet of dark berry fruit laced with potpourri scents that develop with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip on the entry a fine bead of acidity good backbone and a saline element that lingers nicely on the sour-cherry-tinged finish. Excellent. (Drink between 2022-2042)
