Much more subtle oak influence is present on the equally spicy and even more floral-suffused nose that blends notes of red raspberry with those of tea and dark cherry. There is a lovely inner mouth perfume to the energetic sleek and tautly muscular flavors that possess excellent volume before terminating in a moderately austere long and notably more complex finale. This is excellent though like all fine examples of Clos des Chênes extended patience will be a virtue. (Drink starting 2032)
